Erika Gimenes is the founder of Rock Euphoria, as well as a music talent agent and music journalist.

Erika began her entertainment career as a music journalist at Rolling Stone Press where she helped research and write in “The Rolling Stone Encyclopedia of Rock & Roll,” “Rolling Stone Images of Rock & Roll,” “The ‘90s The Inside Stories from the Decade that Rocked,” and many others. She also wrote for as “The Miami Herald,” “Hollywood.com,” and feature pieces for several publications worldwide. She also did live on-camera work, covering several red carpets events like the MTV Awards, American Music Awards and the Grammys.

Gimenes then transitioned from writing about bands to working with them as an assistant to music agents at CAA and WME, two of the biggest talent agencies in the world. She worked with some of the biggest acts in the world such as Mariah Carey, Enrique Iglesias, The Pretenders, Alice in Chains, Daft Punk and many others booking stadium shows in the Central and West Coast, Latin America and Asia.

As the booking agent at the world famous Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles, she booked not only bands from the local scene, but also some of the biggest bands in rock music such as Tom Keifer, Slash, Skid Row, and every 80s rock band that you can imagine. She also had the opportunity to host and promote music and charity events.

Erika has helped mentor and create an opportunity for up and coming musicians who want to break into the music industry. She has coached them and created a career path for them, that along with her connections in the industry, has created a successful career for her clients. Additionally, Erika has been a judge and commentator in a variety of shows on both VH1 and MTV.
